Tewksbury Coronavirus Case Count Falls Back To Single Digits

The town reported just six active cases, Tuesday, down from 20 on Oct. 2.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's active coronavirus case count is down to just six cases, the town reported Tuesday. Blaire House has one case and the other five are community cases.

The town's case count rose to 20 on Oct. 2, after falling into single digits in September.

In total, 721 residents have tested positive for the virus. Seventy-seven have died, 581 have recovered and the outcome is unknown on 57, the town reported.

Tewksbury was a yellow, moderate-risk community in the state's most recent town-by-town update, Oct. 7.
