Tewksbury Coronavirus Update: 31 Confirmed Cases, 5 Recovered
Twenty-six Tewksbury residents had active cases of the new virus, as of Friday.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury has 31 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, as of Fridayafternoon, the town said. Twenty-six of the cases are active while the other five have recovered.
For privacy reasons, the town does not release any information about the coronavirus patients. Public health officials conduct follow-up with the patients' contacts.
"All citizens who are in a position to do so, please stay at home as much as possible or limit your person-to-person contact," the town asked. "By practicing physical distancing, you will protect yourself and others. It is likely that there are other individuals impacted by COVID-19 in the community that have not sought medical attention and/or have not been confirmed by lab testing but are isolating at home."

As of Sunday, there are over 12,000 cases of the new virus in Massachusetts.
The town announced Monday that the town meeting has been delayed to June.
