Tewksbury Couple Welcomes First Baby Born at Local Hospital in 2017: Report
The new baby girl is the first of thousands to be born at Lowell General Hospital this year.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Thousands of babies are born each year at Lowell General Hospital, but only one baby can be the first of the year.
This year, that baby was Arianna Josephine Patterson born to Josephine Cassanelli and Morgan Patterson of Tewksbury, reports the Lowell Sun. Baby Arianna was born at 2:40 a.m. Sunday weighing in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces.
The report further indicates that Arianna was due on Dec. 26. The hospital averages more than six births each day.
