Tewksbury Fall Harvest Festival Will Be 2 Days This Year

The 8th annual festival will take place Oct. 1-2, and feature a petting zoo, face painting, live music, vendors, games and crafts.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Town of Tewksbury has announced details of this year's 8th annual Fall Harvest Festival, which will be a two-day event for the first time in its history.

The free festival will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Oct. 1 and Oct. 2 at the Livingston Field Recreation Complex, 288 Livingston Street .

Both days of the festival will feature a petting zoo, face painting and live music. Plus, over 80 food and craft vendors are expected to attend.

Saturday's schedule includes a touch-a-truck event, and residents will be able to get a close-up look at various safety vehicles and meet police K9s. There also will be helicopter rides, with donations supporting the Tewksbury Community Pantry.

Sunday's events include fall-themed lawn games, kids' crafts and classic old-time fair contests.

The festival, which features free parking, is sponsored by the Town of Tewksbury, with support from the Town Manager's Office, Tewksbury Police Department, Tewksbury Fire Department and Tewksbury Department of Public Works.
