Tewksbury Football's Playoff Run Begins Saturday
The Redmen are favored by many to defeat Medford. Here is what you need to know.

TEWKSBURY, MA — After a perfect regular season, the Tewksbury Memorial High School Redmen will now set their sights on the North Division 2 playoff bracket. The Redmen are the top seed in the bracket, and have a showdown Saturday with Medford.
The Mustangs of Medford squeaked into the playoffs with a 3-4 record. After a hot 3-1 start, the Mustangs fell to Everett, Bedford and Somerville in consecutive weeks. Medford's high-scoring offense has scored fewer than 25 points just twice this season.
Medford's defense has been porous at times this season, giving up over 34 points in each of its losses. The Mustangs are coming off a loss to Somerville, where they allowed 52 points.

The game is set for Doucette Field at 1:30 p.m. With a victory, which many including Patch High School Football guru Bob Holmes are predicting, the Redmen will face the winner of Beverly and Somerville.
Many signs are pointing to a rematch of Tewksbury and Billerica in the North Division 2 finals. Dates and times for the future matches have yet to be determined.
