Tewksbury Foster Mom Recognized As Community Leader

TEWKSBURY, MA — Without community leaders, Tewksbury wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

What does this community leader do?

Not only does she host an annual fundraiser to help raise money for the local newspaper sun santa fund she is a foster mom and very involved with making sure foster children and low income families with clothes and other necessity needed. She is a small part of the community with hopes of one day having her own space and become a non profit

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

Because of all the hard work she does for others, always putting others needs before her own and countless hours she puts in to help the children

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

She sees the best in people regardless of background. She is a family oriented person, took care of her mom and grandmother while working, being a foster mom and still managing her organization to help others. She is always thinking of others and putting everyone else before herself.
