This past weekend, Tewksbury opened the MTOC with a 0-0 tie against Walpole and a 2-2 tie against Dartmouth. But after that, the team destroyed Hanson. 5-1 and nipped Lynn, 3-2 to advance to the final. In the title game, Tewksbury won a hard-fought rematch with Walpole, 1-0, to claim the state crown.

It was a heartbreaking finish to an outstanding season for the Tewksbury Boys U14-1 team, which fell in the state final, 3-0, to Framingham on Sunday.
At the Commissioner's Cup, Tewksbury blanked Malden, 2-0, before falling to Reading, 2-1. But Tewksbury earned a wildcard bid to the MTOC.
At the MTOC, Tewksbury opened with a 1-0 win over South Shore before dropping a 1-0 decision to Coastal. The boys bounced back to blitz Bays, 5-0, then posted a 3-1 win in the semifinals.
