THB is a 501c3, nonprofit corporation dedicated to increasing the quantity and quality of affordable housing in the Town of Tewksbury. The current project is a partnership with the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center (VNOC) and Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. VNOC will manage the property, and select a deserving veteran once it is complete.
The students of Shawsheen Tech have built the home from the foundation up, beginning late last fall. The funds raised at this great event will help us complete the project, and conclude our South Street project that has already produced two single family affordable homes from an abandoned property that lay vacant and decaying for almost a decade.
