Tewksbury Has Over 400 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases
Over half of the town's confirmed cases are at the state hospital and long-term care facilities.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Over 400 Tewksbury residents have confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, as of Friday, the town said Friday. There are 414 total cases, with 320 current patients, 94 recoveries, and 26 deaths.
The town released a detailed breakdown for the first time, with cases and deaths divided between a collection of particular residential facilities and elsewhere in the community.
More than half of the town's cases have been at the Tewksbury State Hospital and long-term care facilities. The Hospital accounts for 123 cases, while Blaire House Skilled Nursing Facility has 60.

The remaining cases are:
- Two at Blaire House Assisted Living Facility
- Twenty-two at Woodhaven
- One at Bayberry
- Eight at group homes.

Outside of that type of facility, there are 198 cases and six deaths.
