Tewksbury To Host 'Tree Talk' Next Month
The town will host a meeting for the public interested in the permitting requirements for tree removal.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Community Development Department and Department of Public Works are teaming up to educate tree removal contractors, residents, and others interested in the permitting requirements for tree removal in Town. The “Tree Talk” will take place on Wednesday, February 26 at 10AM at the Town Hall, 1009 Main Street. Light refreshments will be served.
The goal of this session is to provide education related to the regulation of public shade trees, rules for tree cutting overall, and how the Conservation Commission’s jurisdiction affects tree cutting. The Conservation Agent and Tree Warden will each make brief presentations on their area of expertise and be available to answer questions.
