Red Cross Blood Drive

Stories From The Patriots Sideline with Jeff Howe

Author Jeff Howe ("If These Walls Could Talk: Stories From The New England Patriots Sideline, Locker Room, and Press Box," co-authored with Scott Zolak) will provide an insider's look into the great moments and the lowlights of arguably the most successful team in NFL history. Jeff is the New England Patriots beat reporter for The Athletic. A native of Lowell and a UMass graduate, he has covered the Patriots since 2009, including three years at NESN and six years at the Boston Herald. The Legacy of State Rep. Jim Miceli: A Panel Discussion

A year after his tragic passing, come celebrate the life and legacy of James R. Miceli. Learn more about the late state representative from the people who knew him best. Panelists will discuss his life, his work, and his impact on the Wilmington and Tewksbury communities. The panel includes Margaret Wilson, Liz Carey, Jay Kelley, and Jay Tighe. Steve Bjork will moderate. This event is a collaboration of the Wilmington Memorial Library and Tewksbury Public Library, with the support of the Wilmington Historical Commission and Tewksbury Historical Society. GET ORGANIZED WEEK: Create Your Own Recipe Journal (Hands-On Workshop)
Saturday, April 27, 10am-2pm
Have dozens of cookbooks or hundreds of pieces of paper with recipes written on them cluttering up your kitchen? Take advantage of this workshop where you will create a recipe journal. Participants will design, create and embellish each page, leaving with a completed project for saving (or gift giving). Supplies and kits will be provided, as will tools, equipment, and adhesives. The instructor is master paper crafter Elaine Sousa, owner of Smiles of Color. Limited to 15 seats with a 5-person waiting list. Tiny Tykes Story Time
Monday, April 22, 10:15am AND 11am
For young children ages 0 to 18 months. Older siblings are always welcome to join in! Join us for a fun session of stories, songs, fingerplays, instruments, and gentle movement that help build early literacy skills. Please note, we have 2 sessions that are the same, one is at 10:15am and the other is at 11:00am. There is no registration, HOWEVER, there is limited space in the room. Please check in at the Children's desk upon arrival to check to see if there is still room available in the session.
Preschool Story Time

Wacky Words Writer’s Workshop

Wiggle Time

For 2 year olds (ages 18 months and up). Get your early literacy skills on with stories, songs, movement, instruments, dancing and more! No registration required, HOWEVER, there is limited space in the room. Please check in at the Children's desk upon arrival to grab a token and ensure there is space in the story time.
Drop-In Messy Craft

For ages 2-6. Older and younger siblings are always welcome. Join us in this new program to explore different messy crafts! We'll have messy items such as markers, paint, stamps, shaving cream, and Play-Doh available to play with and have fun. While we have smocks available, we encourage wearing old clothes just in case. No registration required.
DIY Craft

For ages 5 to 11. Younger siblings are welcome to join with adult help. Drop by the craft room this morning to make a fun project. No registration required. One craft per child, please.

Craft & Chat: Bookmarks

Come make crafts and hang out! We will discuss books, media, and more. This program is open to anyone in grades 6 through 12. Snacks will be provided if teens register at least a day prior to the program. Register HERE.

Hang out and play video games on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One! Teens are welcome to bring their own games, but they must be rated between E and T. Snacks will be provided if teens are registered by 5 pm on April 22. Register HERE.
