Discover the most successful practices for landing a job. The session will cover multiple topics critical to the overall job search process. Come learn the Dos and Don’ts of job searching and techniques you can start using today to make your job search most effective. Led by Jill Weiner, who has worked in the Computer Engineering industry for 35 years. Weiner started out as an engineer and recently retired from an executive chief-of-staff level responsible. She has been responsible for worldwide activities, managing cross functionally and cross culturally in high-tech software environments. Weiner enjoys coaching people & teams to success. Evening Book Group Meeting: The Chilbury Ladies’ Choir

Join us for a discussion of The Chilbury Ladies' Choir by Jennifer Ryan. As England enters World War II's dark early days, spirited music professor Primrose Trent, recently arrived to the village of Chilbury, emboldens the women of the town to defy the Vicar's stuffy edict to shutter the church's choir in the absence of men and instead carry in singing. Film Screening: A Star Is Born

Enjoy a screening of one of Hollywood's newest DVD releases -- A Star Is Born, a romantic drama starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. The film received 7 Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Actress. A musician helps a young singer find fame, even as age and alcoholism send his own career into a downward spiral. Rated R. 136 minutes. Doors will open 30 minutes early. Candy & water will be served in the afternoon. Pizza & water will be served at night. A $1-$2 donation is suggested. Tiny Tykes Story Time

For young children ages 0 to 18 months. Older siblings are always welcome to join in! Join us for a fun session of stories, songs, fingerplays, instruments, and gentle movement that help build early literacy skills. Please note, we have 2 sessions that are the same, one is at 10:15am and the other is at 11:00am. There is no registration, HOWEVER, there is limited space in the room. Please check in at the Children's desk upon arrival to check to see if there is still room available in the session.

In The Media

A group where teens from any political party or belief system can come to have a civil discussion about current topics in the media or our community. We will look at different articles, videos or other sources to gain knowledge prior to our discussion. Each month we will go over tips and ground rules for having a civil conversation. Teens who participate will receive an hour of community service. Snacks will be provided if teens register at least a day prior to the program. Register HERE.
