Tewksbury Man Wins $1 Million Lottery Prize

Two $4 million and six more $1 million prizes are still available in the lottery's "$4,000,000 Winfall" instant game.

TEWKSBURY, MA — A Tewksbury man will soon be a new homeowner after winning a $1 million prize from the Massachusetts State Lottery's "$4,000,000 Winfall" instant game.

Edward Dufresne of Tewksbury became the ninth $1 million winner of the game after purchasing his winning ticket at the Knickerbocker Club in Lowell. Dufresne opted for a one-time payment of $650,000 (less tax withholdings), and plans to use the winnings to purchase a house.

The club will also receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale.
