TPD officers soon spotted the vehicle on Main Street heading in the direction of Motel 6, located at 95 Main St., the department said.
Officers conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of the motel, where they found a male suspect and a female suspect inside the vehicle, police said. The department said it identified both suspects: Bass, who was operating the vehicle, and Osgood, who was a passenger.
During a preliminary investigation, officers observed numerous power tools and other items that appeared to be Home Depot merchandise inside the vehicle, according to the TPD.
TPD officers also learned that a third suspect had been seen exiting the vehicle before the officers arrived at the scene. the TPD said.
According to police, Bass and Osgood said they did not know the third suspect well, but they were able to share his Facebook account with officers.

While the on-site investigation took place, a Tewksbury Police officer observed an individual believed to be Campbell entering an Applebee's Grill+ Bar Restaurant, located at 85 Main Street, police said.
But officers learned that the suspect had exited the restaurant through a back door, according to the department.
The TPD said a perimeter was set up in order to conduct a search for the suspect. Additionally, two Massachusetts State Police K-9 units reported to the scene to participate in the search.
The K-9 was able to get the scent of the third suspect thanks to a sweatshirt the suspect had left behind, authorities said.
However, after searching an area from the restaurant to the Lowell line, including a wooded area near Route 38, authorities said they were unable to locate Campbell.
Tewksbury police said all items were returned to Home Depot.
