Tewksbury Player Named Patch Player of the Week

The Tewksbury receiver helped carry the Redmen to the Merrimack Valley Conference Title.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Redmen may not have won the Merrimack Valley Conference Small football title without one of this week's Patch Players of the Week.

Tewksbury senior wide receiver Aaron Whitehouse was selected by Patch High School Football Guru Bob Holmes as one of this week's Players of the Week. The five-foot-seven receiver returned a put for a 57-yard score and also caught a 47-yard touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback Jay Connolly to help the Redmen top Billerica.

Holmes highlighted the senior's stellar performance after Tewksbury's 20-7 victory over the Indians Saturday.
