Tewksbury Police Arrest Lawrence Man With 28 Grams Of Cocaine

Samil Munoz, 26, of Lawrence, was scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Lowell District Court.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Detectives conducting an investigation into an alleged drug dealer arrested a Lawrence man on cocaine charges Friday. In a news release, Tewksbury police said Samil Munoz, 26, of Lawrence, was arrested during a motor vehicle stop on Radcliff Road. Police recovered 28 grams -- rough one ounce -- of cocaine.

Muniz was scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Lowell District court on a charge of trafficking cocaine, over 18 grams. If convicted of the charge, Muniz faces a minimum sentence of two years in prison and up to 15 years, as well as fines of up to $25,000.
