Tewksbury Police Arrest Lawrence Man On Drug, Other Charges
Richard Guaroa Arias-Santana, 47, of 9 Monmouth Street in Lawrence, was arrested after police responded to a report of a suspicious person.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- A Lawrence man is facing multiple charges after being arrested by Tewksbury Police Tuesday. Richard Guaroa Arias-Santana, 47, of 9 Monmouth Street in Lawrence, was arrested after police responded to a call of a suspicious person at the Mobil Gas Station at 2 Main Street.
Police determined that Arias-Santana had given them a false Massachusetts driver's license and that he had outstanding warrants against him. Police say he was also in possession of a class E substance but did not specify what that substance was. Class E substances include codeine, morphine and opium.
Arias-Santana was scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court Wednesday on four counts of possession of a class e substance, possession/use false/stolen RMV document, an outstanding warrant for false application for a motor vehicle license and forge/misuse of a RMV document and an outstanding warrant of removal pending with ICE.
