Tewksbury Police Arrest Two, Seize 43 Grams Of Fentanyl

Police also recovered heroin and crack cocaine during Thursday's arrest.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- A Lawrence couple were arraigned in Lowell Distrcit Court Friday after being arrested on multiple drug charges by Tewksbury Police. Freddy DeJesus, 35, and Martha Perez, 34, both of 809 Essex Street in Lawrence, were charged with trafficking fentanyl over 10 grams, distribution of heroin, possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.

Detectives arrested DeJesus and Perze on Shawsheen Street near Apache Way without incident. Police recovered 43 grams of fentanyl, heroin and crack cocaine during the arrest. Following the arrests, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued a detainer on DeJesus for having an illegal immigration status in the United States.
