Tewksbury Police Investigating Car Breaks and Stolen Vehicles
Residents are asked to secure their homes as well as their vehicles.

The Tewksbury Police Department is investigating a series of car breaks that occurred between the evening of Sept. 3 and into the morning of Sept. 4.
According to police, several vehicles were broken into throughout the town. Two vehicles were also stolen. The Tewksbury Police are continuing to investigate the incidents.
Officials want the public to be aware that, with regard to these types of crimes, suspects typically target unlocked vehicles. Police are asking residents to secure their homes and vehicles when left unattended by locking doors, windows, and activating security systems when possible. We are also asking residents to secure their valuables out of plain view in both their residences and their vehicles. Lastly, police are asking residents to assist us by reporting any type of neighborhood suspicious activity observed, such as suspicious individuals and vehicles, no matter how insignificant you feel it may be. A partnership between the residents of Tewksbury and the Tewksbury Police Department is imperative in our plight to reduce this type of crime.
