Tewksbury Police to Observe Moment of Silence for Dallas Shooting Victims
Five police officers were killed and seven wounded in a shooting in Dallas Thursday.

Tewksbury, MA — The tragic shooting in Dallas has struck the law enforcement community across the country, and police forces are taking a moment to reflect on the events in honor of the victims.

The Tewksbury Police Department announced Friday that it would be observing a 20-second moment of silence at 1 p.m. The department also offered its condolences to the Dallas police department Friday.

Snipers killed five Dallas law enforcement officers and wounded others during a rally protesting the killing of two black men by police earlier this week. As of Friday morning, multiple suspects were in custody.
