Tewksbury Police Pull Car From Water
The incident is under investigation, according to Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury Police used two tow trucks from Strong Water Brook early Tuesday morning, close to where the waterway runs under Shawsheen Street and joins the Shawsheen River. Drivers said traffic on Shawsheen Street was stopped for several minutes as police searched the steep embankments on both sides of the road before calling in the tow trucks.
"This incident is under investigation but I can report that no one was with the vehicle when we were notified of its location," Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan said.
The car was pulled from the water around 8:00 a.m., according to Erin Boudreau, who lives near the scene. Boudreau said the car appeared to be a silver Grand Marquis or Crown Victoria.
