Tewksbury Police Report 2 Arrests With Drug Charges

A 31-year-old Peabody man was charged with possessing fentanyl with the intent to distribute, after police observed an apparent drug sale.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury police arrested two Peabody men, Tuesday, following an apparent drug transaction near the Home Depot. Police responded to a report of suspicious activity and observed an apparent drug deal, the department said.

Michael Torrence, 31, was charged with possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl. He also had an outstanding warrant for armed robbery.

William Brown, 30,, was charged with possession of fentanyl.

Both were arraigned in Lowell District Court, Thursday.
