Tewksbury Police Arrest Juvenile In Multiple Car Break-Ins
Several motor vehicle break-ins were reported in Tewksbury on Friday morning. Police have arrested a juvenile in the case.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Police have arrested a suspect accused of several motor vehicle break-ins.
Multiple motor vehicle break-ins were reported on Worthern Place and Evergreen Road in Tewksbury early Friday morning.
Police identified the suspect on Monday as a 17-year-old juvenile. He was charged with three counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and two counts of larceny under $1,200, according to police. He is scheduled for arraignment Monday in Lowell Juvenile Court.

In one instance, a suspect was captured by a Ring surveillance camera as he broke into a vehicle at 3:19 a.m., according to police.
Among the items stolen during the break-ins was a credit card that was later used at a liquor store in Lowell at 8:35 a.m.

Tewksbury Police released surveillance footage from the Ring camera and the liquor store, and as a result they were able to identify the suspect.
“I want to thank the public for their assistance with this investigation, which our officers were able to bring to a conclusion thanks to information provided to us,” Chief Ryan Columbus said in a statement. “I also want to remind residents to always lock their vehicle doors, and to avoid leaving valuables in plain sight inside of vehicles.”
