Tewksbury Public Library Announces Upcoming Job Seekers Network Meetings

Looking for a new job or career in Tewksbury? The Tewksbury Public Library Job Seekers Network is here to help.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Public Library's Job Seekers Network is one of five networking groups in the state recognized by public libraries, and has announced its upcoming meetings for the months of August through October.

The free meetings hope to connect those seeking new career options with local career coaches and other members in order to help residents find employment. According to facilitator and librarian Robert Hayes, there are currently 665 unemployed people living in Tewksbury.

“Meetings are rather informal,” said Hayes. “We begin the meeting with brief introductions. A guest speaker, typically a local career coach, then gives a presentation on a topic of interest to the group. The meeting ends with informal networking among members, where leads are shared and moral support is offered.”
