Monday, August 10, 7pm

Calling all knitters, crocheters, needle workers, beaders, and colorists! Bring your own craft project to the Library and work on it while enjoying conversation with other crafters. (Please, no crafts involving glue or paint.) Take advantage of the many books available at the library to get ideas for your next project or to explore a new craft.

IN PERSON: Make A Bouquet With Monarch Ranch (*RR)

Tuesday, August 11, 3:30pm

Make your own bouquet and bring it home to enjoy! You can also choose flowers to cut directly from the Monarch Ranch garden, located next to the TPL Community Garden. We will move indoors if there is inclement weather. Thank you to McCue Garden Center and Monarch Ranch for donating these beautiful flowers.

IN PERSON: English Conversation Group with English At Large (*RR)

Tuesday, August 11, 6:30pm

English At Large will be running an English Conversation Group in Tewksbury this summer. Conversation groups are groups of 8 -12 adult learners who meet weekly for 90 minutes to practice English speaking and listening skills. All groups are free! Registration is required. Groups are in person and are for adults who speak English at an intermediate or advanced level. You should be able to have a conversation in English. Conversation groups are not classes. Volunteer facilitators focus on listening and speaking.

IN PERSON: MassHire Lowell Mobile Career Center

The MassHire Lowell Mobile Career Center is returning to Tewksbury! On Wednesdays beginning July 1, the Mobile Career Center will be parked outside the library from 10:30AM-2:30PM to help job seekers. The MassHire Lowell Mobile Career Center is a mobile bus unit that has been equipped with solar panels to power workstations within the bus to allow for Career Center services to hit the road to all of our local communities, cities and towns. It will provide information on: Career Services; Current Training Programs; Job Search Events; and Hiring Events. No registration is required. In the event of severe weather, the event may be cancelled or cut short.

The Tewksbury Community Market takes place on Thursdays, from 4pm to 7pm, from June 4, 2026 to September 24, 2026, in the parking lot behind the Tewksbury Recreation Center at Livingston St. Park (288 Livingston Street). The market has 70 vendors overall, with 30-35 vendors present on any given week. Each week's lineup of vendors is listed on the Market's website. Preschool playgroup is a weekly group where kids can meet, play, and learn. Pick up STEM and early literacy skills, and have some fun while you're at it! Sponsored by Community Teamwork Inc's Family Resource Network. The Family Resource Network is funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant (CFCE) from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

Join us in the garden for a Harvest Party with Mill City Grows! For our last session kids will get to harvest the veggies planted during the first week of MCG programming, do some taste tests, and make a delicious snack that showcases the yummy food grown in the Tewksbury Library garden. After we have gotten our bountiful harvest, kids will have the opportunity to take the remaining fresh vegetables home to their families! This event is for children in grades 3-5

It's tie dye time! You must bring your own white shirt, but we'll take care of the rest of the supplies. We can't wait to see your colorful creations! This event will be outside behind the library (if it's not raining or too hot to be safe!). Registration is not required, but the craft will be available while supplies last.
