Tewksbury Quarterback Named Patch Player of the Week
Veteran high school sports reporter Bob Holmes named the sophomore one of Week 4's best.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Massachusetts High School football season is in full swing, and some athletes are beginning to separate themselves.
Veteran high school sports reporter Bob Holmes dropped his list of Patch players of the week Monday, and Tewksbury's sophomore quarterback Jay Connolly made the cut.
Connolly shined in Tewksbury's 39-7 victory over Dracut.

Jay Connolly, Tewksbury — The Redmen are off to a 4-0 start and it's been a different player every week leading the way. In a 39-7 win over Dracut, quarterback Jay Connolly threw two touchdown passes, his third and fourth of the year. Tewksbury, which faces Lawrence next, is one of three unbeaten teams in Division 2 North, along with Beverly and Billerica.
