On Saturday, Dec. 24, the Mites completed a furious comeback against a tough Stoneham team.  Entering the 3rd period down 2-0, the Redmen started the period on a powerplay and connected quickly on a goal by Jake McDonough with assists to Alex Pescatore & Andrew Della Piana.  The Redmen kept constant pressure in the Stoneham zone with shots by Billy Doherty, Brady Chapman, and Conor Cremin.  A great effort on the blue line from Jason Cooke and Maci Chapman to keep the puck in the Stoneham zone led to Alex Pescatore scoring to tie the game at 2-2.  Pescatore, looking like Tyler Seguin, used his speed to break away from the Stoneham defense and beat the goalie with 2 minutes remaining in the 3rd period to give the Redmen a 3-2 lead.

Andrew Della Piana completed the comeback by adding an empty net goal to secure the 4-2 win.
