Tewksbury Selectmen to Run For Re-Election
The town will vote on the position during the next town election in April.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The race for the lone Tewksbury Selectman's seat on the April 2017 town election ballot will feature current chairman Bruce Panilaitis. The incumbent candidate issued a press release Monday announcing his intention to seek re-election to the lone seat on the board.
“It has been a very rewarding experience and I feel like we have made some significant accomplishments over these past three years, but there is still a great deal to do,” Panilaitis said in a statement.
Panilaitis has served the board as Clerk, Vice Chair and Char. He is the chair of the Town Center Master Plan Committee and has led efforts to redesign Town Common. He also previously served as the Chair of the Economic Development Committee.

"Since 2014 when Panilaitis first took office, he has worked with and led a Board of Selectmen that has responsibly struck a balance between investing in Tewksbury town services and capital projects, while remaining cognizant of the shared costs to maintain the community," read the press release.
