A TMHS Junior was honored by the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists

TEWKSBURY, MA — A Tewksbury Memorial High School student has been honored by the National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists, announced the Tewksbury Public Schools.
TMHS junior Hope MacKenzie was honored for her outstanding academic performance, leadership potential and dedication to serving humanity through science, technology, engineering or math. The academy is a membership organization charted in 2014 to inspire and support all K-12 and college students who wish to devote their lives to sciences and technology, according to the announcement.
“We are thrilled that Hope was recognized. Having females who are interested in the sciences is great and for students to have female role models such as our staff at TMHS is an outstanding aspect of our school,” said TMHS Principal Kristen Vogel in a statement.
