An honor roll student, Woods has been a member of the National Honor Society for the past two years and has also earned Citizenship Awards for biology, English and business technology.

Woods has also participated in Skills USA all four years she has been at Shawsheen Tech.

When Woods isn’t hitting the books, she stays busy with several activities including dancing and scrapbooking. Her activities at school have included Student Council, the Recycling Club and the Business Professionals of America.

Deacetis, of Tewksbury, is a drafting student at Shawsheen and has been an important part of the student body as both a scholar and an athlete.

Deacetis has embraced the skills he has learned in high school and hopes to attend college to major in either architecture or landscape architecture. His exciting future plans include designing houses and maybe even golf courses. He admits that one day, he’d love to create his own golf course.

It’s no surprise that Deacetis was a member of Shawsheen’s championship golf team this fall. He’s golfed for the Rams for the past three years while also playing baseball and wrestling at the school. Deacetis enjoyed another championship this winter as the Ram wrestlers won both the Commonwealth Athletic Conference title and the state vocational crown.

He’s no slouch in the classroom either, maintaining a top 15 rank academically in the senior class.

Deacetis has been in the National Honor Society for two years, has earned high honors for the past three years and has earned a Citizenship Award in math.

His other hobbies include basketball, running and lifting weights.
