Tewksbury Town Meeting: What To Know Before You Go
With turnout expected to be higher than usual, officials are trying to streamline the check-in process.
From The Town of Tewksbury:Town Clerk, Denise Graffeo would like to remind voters that we will once again use our electronic Poll Pads to check-in voters for the May 6 & 8, 2019 Annual and May 8, 2019 Special Town Meetings. You may use your Massachusetts Driver’s License to check-in. This is not an ID requirement, but rather a way to accelerate the check- in process. Simply have your license ready to give to the check-in staff to be scanned by the Poll Pad. If you choose, you may still check-in by stating your name and address. Either way, checking in to Town Meeting will be faster and easier!
The last day to register to vote to be eligible for the May 6th & 8th Annual Town Meeting was Friday, March 15th. The last day to register to vote to be eligible for the May 8th Special Town Meeting was Friday, April 27th.
If you wish to verify your voter registration status or have any questions, please phone the Town Clerk’s Office at 978-640-4355.
