Tewksbury Treasurer's Office Closes Due To Coronavirus Exposure

The collector's office will be closed to the public for two weeks as staff quarantine at home.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's treasurer/collector's office will be closed to the public for the next two weeks due to a coronavirus exposure, the town said Wednesday. The office staff have been sent home and will be tested.

The office will not reopen until Nov. 3, the town said. The Town Hall Annex will be cleaned in the interim.

There is no risk to the public, according to the town announcement.

"The issue has been isolated to the Treasurer/Collectors’ office itself," the town said.

Residents can make payments through the town's website or using the drop box next to the Town Hall Annex, in the parking lot.
