Tewksbury Tree Lighting Opens Holiday Season Friday
The Tewksbury Public Events and Celebrations Committee hosts the annual holiday celebration.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Now that Thanksgiving is over, no one can dispute that the holiday season is upon us. Get into the spirit with the Tewksbury Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration, Friday, Dec. 6 from 6 to 7 p.m. The Tewksbury Public Events and Celebrations Committee's annual holiday Tree Lighting is on the Town Common, 1009 Main St.
Alongside the tree lighting in the gazebo, other festivities include:

- Staging of a beautiful ice sculpture donated by the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce and its associated businesses

- Writing letters to Santa, and of course…

After the tree lighting, there will be homemade pies across the street at the Congregational Church. The committee also encourages residents to bring unwrapped toys to donate to the local toy drive.
