Tewksbury Woman Wins $1 Million Lottery Prize

TEWKSBURY, MA— A Tewksbury woman became the sixth and final winner of the $1 million prize of the Massachusetts State Lottery's “Hot $1,000,000” $5 instant game on July 26.

Laura Perkins of Tewksbury chose to receive a one-time payment of $650,000 (before tax withholdings). She plans on using the winnings to help her family.

Perkins purchased her ticket at Deli Mart in Billerica. The store receives a $10,000 bonus from the sale.
