Tewksbury's Pushcart Cafe Announces it will not Re-Open
The beloved Tewksbury restaurant will not be re-opening after more than 30 years in business, the eatery announced Friday.

TEWKSBURY, MA—A beloved Tewksbury eatery will not be re-opening its doors for business.
The Pushcart Cafe, located at 1777 Main Street, announced via its Facebook page Friday that it would not be re-opening its doors after more than 30 years in business. The restaurant took to social media Friday to thank its loyal customers and employees.

"The owners of The Pushcart Cafe, with much regret, wish to inform the public that The Pushcart will not be reopening," the restaurant wrote on its Facebook account. "We would like to thank the residents of Tewksbury and those of surrounding communities for making The Pushcart so successful for more than 30 years. It was our pleasure to serve you. We would like to thank all our loyal employees that contributed to it's great success."
The post also added that the restaurant is willing to work with interested parties willing to pursue the re-opening of Pushcart. In addition, the restaurant will be honoring outstanding Pushcart gift cards that were previously issued.

Those holding gift cards can bring them to the Pushcart on Saturday, July 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or Monday, July 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. to redeem them.
