Tewksbury's Special Town Meeting is Tuesday
Here's what to know about Special Town Meeting on Tuesday.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's Special Town Meeting is Tuesday, and residents across town will met at TMHS to vote on 24 warrant articles.
Town meeting will begin at TMHS at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening. Here's a quick rundown of some of the warrant articles to be debated. To view the full warrant, click here.
Articles
Article 11
If approved, this article will allow the town to utilize funds from the certified free cash to fund a senior tax releif/veterans tax relief program.

Article 14
The Tewksbury Community Preservation Committee is seeking Community Preservation Act funds to refurbish the weather worn WWII Veterans Memorial on Town Common
Article 18
If approved, the Board of Selectmen will be allowed to create a "safety zone" that changes speed limits in a town without conducting a traffic study.

Article 22
If approved, the Board of Selectmen will have the authority to appoint all six member of the Council on Aging, as opposed to the Council on Aging chairperson, consistent with other appointed boards, commissions and committees in town.
Town Meeting Guidelines
- No food or drink in the gymnasium or auditorium
- Smoking is not allowed in the school building or on School Property
- Standing at the doors or in the aisles inside the gymnasium is prohibited
