Theater Camp Among Offerings At Tewksbury Recreation Center

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Greater Lowell YMCA will offer two three-week sessions of theater camp for school vacation through July and August for children ages 7-13 at the Tewksbury Recreation Center at 286 Livingston Street.

There will be opportunities to rehearse and perform classics like “Little Mermaid” and “[Kid] Frankenstein” as well as other arts and crafts and outdoor activities. Camp tuition covers scripts, costumes, sets, choreography, acting coaching, and more! This will be an opportunity for kids to practice creativity and self-expression while also having a blast.

The YMCA will offer the camp July 6 through July 25, then July 27 through August 15, including final performances on the last Saturday of each session. The camp will run Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm each day.

Residents of the Town of Tewksbury do not need to be YMCA members to register for these programs.
