This hands-on workshop includes the history of this unique art form and its practices. Students will learn the rudiments of the four suits, the significance of the numbers, and the interpretation of “Major Arcana” cards. Discussion encouraged, and we will practice some simple readings, and then move on to more complex readings. We use the Ryder-Waite deck, designed by Pamela Colman-Smith for in-class readings. Appropriate for beginners, and those wishing to practice and improve their abilities. Instructor Sally Cragin is an award-winning journalist who wrote “Moon Signs” for many newspapers nationwide, including the Boston Phoenix chain. She is also the author of The Astrological Elements, and Astrology on the Cusp. Register HERE.
