TMHS Theater Company Holds Double Feature
The TMHS Theater Co. is performing Tell Tale Heart and a student written piece the night of February 25th, at 7pm. Admission will be free.

Tell Tale Heart directed by Jade Scarpa, and Secrets written and directed by Andrew Nunes and Eve Carciofi (both Seniors at TMHS) will be performed at Tewksbury Memorial High School on February 25th at 7pm. Admission will be free, but donations are appreciated. The performance of Tell Tale Heart is in preparation for the upcoming festivals. The TMHS Theater Company is competing the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild festival on February 28th, and the International Thespian Society festival on March 5th.
“I don’t think any of us have ever done a show that’s been as difficult as Tell Tale Heart. I also don’t think any of us have ever worked harder to create such an incredible play. It’s not like anything you’ve ever seen on stage before.” Says Chris Mitchell (freshman), who plays the role of The Man in Tell Tale Heart. Tell Tale Heart shows the experience of a man and his descent into madness.
“Everyone involved is so dedicated to making this short show great. Even though it’s student written and directed, everyone is focused and it’s looking to be a great show.” says Andrew Nunes about Secrets. Secrets follows a young girl through her first day at school. The story takes a sad turn when she encounters a bully who makes fun of her parents, but has a secret of her own. “This play Secrets is really a jawdropper, Andrew and Eve did an astonishing job writing this script. It’s definitely not your normal play, but it’s something to remember.” Says Brienne O’Rourke who plays Taylor in Secrets. “Secrets started out as a play Andrew and I wrote, but I honestly never thought we’d get the chance to produce it. Seeing our play being put together in so little time has made the experience both scary and exciting! I think that people will be able to connect with the story line because the topics of bullying and homosexuality are very prevalent in today’s society. I hope that everyone who comes to see the show enjoys it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.”
