Toddler Dead After Apparent Drowning in Lowell
Officials have confirmed that the 3-year-old boy hospitalized after an apparent drowning has died.

The 3-year-old boy who had been hospitalized since an apparent drowning in Lowell 10 days ago has died, officials confirmed Tuesday afternoon.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Lowell Police Superintendent William Taylor made the announcement in a release from the DA's office.
The boy and a 2-year-old girl were found unresponsive after an apparent drowning Aug. 20 on Freda Lane in Lowell. Both children were taken to a Boston hospital. The girl has since been released from the hospital.
