Two Injured in Crash on I-495 in Tewksbury
Two men suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on I-495 Sunday morning.

TEWKSBURY, MA—Two men suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on I-495 Northbound in Tewksbury early Sunday morning, State Police Sgt. Tom Ryan confirmed with Patch.
According to Ryan, a 31-year-old Lowell man and a 32-year-old Boston man suffered serious injuries in the crash which police responded to at approximately 1:37 a.m. A 2014 GMC SUV was found crashed about one mile north of Rte. 38, Ryan said.
The passenger in the vehicle, the Boston man, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, Ryan added. The Lowell man was cited for a marked lanes violation and the improper use of a cell phone.

Both men were taken to Lowell General Hospital with serious injuries, according to Ryan.
