Crash Involving Utility Pole Reported In Tewksbury, Detours In Place

TEWKSBURY, MA — A vehicle was involved in an accident with a utility pole in Tewksbury on Monday, according to a police tweet at about 1 p.m.

The accident occurred on East Street. Power lines are down in the road.

A detour is in place between Carter Street and Leston Street while crews work to make repairs.

Police asked drivers to avoid the area if possible and seek alternate routes.
