Vehicle Hits Telephone Pole, Road Closed In Tewksbury, Police Say

TEWKSBURY, MA — Brown Street is currently closed in the area of 218 Brown St. following a motor vehicle crash with a telephone pole.

The pole is down and utility crews are on their way to make repairs, police said in a Facebook post around 8:30 a.m.

Detours are in place at Brown and South streets as well as Brown and Nichols streets.

Police said there were no reported injuries.

"Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes," police wrote. "Updates will be provided when the roadway reopens"
