The 8th grade ‘A’ Wamesit Warriors from Tewksbury won their second consecutive game, with a convincing 52-23 victory over Hamilton-Wenham.
Every player scored, and the bench played big minutes, helping to balance the scoring and make solid contributions to the team win. Ryan Briggs bounced back after committing two early fouls, to score 16 points, including three 3-point baskets.

Andrew White scored 5 points to go along with 9 rebounds, Justin Derrah led both teams in scoring with 17 points including a 3-point jumper, Devan Bere, Jack Theriault, Nick Dunlap, Ryan Bain, Brady Rodgers, Conner MacLean, and Josh Asselin each chipped in with 2 points each.
This game was decided early, with great passing, and forcing Hamilton Wenham into turnovers with an aggressive press. Merry Christmas to all.

Warriors 5th grade start off 4-0
The 5th grade Wamesit Warriors are off to impressive 4-0 start to the season. The early season success can be attributed to the relentless defensive pressure and the up tempo unselfish play in the offensive end.
WW 37 Georgetown 31
This was a tight back and forth game the entire way. The Warriors trailed 31-28 with 1:31 left to play in the game. An impressive 9-0 run fueled by intense full court pressure gave the Warriors the 37-31 victory. The Warriors balanced scoring attack was on display as 8 of the 10 players were in the scoring column. Jay Connolly and Colby Wilson lead the way with 7pts each. Kyle Zervas & Derek Graffeo with 6pts each, Zach Weitz and Brennan Rogers 4 pts each, Michael Polimeno with 2pts and Jack Kelly with 1 pt.
WW 36 Masco 27
This was a game of two unbeaten teams and the young Warriors pulled out a victory against a tough Masconomet team. All ten Warriors were in the scoring column because of their offensive patience and pinpoint passing. Colby Brown & Michael Polimeno led the way with 6 pts each, Nick Larsen, Jay Connolly, Derek Graffeo, Colby Wilson and Zach Weitz had 4 pts each. Jack Kelly with 2 pts and Kyle Zervas 1 pt and 4 assists rounded out the scoring attack. The Warriors look forward to another Masco game in enemy territory right after the holiday break.
