The 8th grade Wamesit Warriors from Tewksbury are undefeated at 20-0, after winning a battle of the two top teams in the league, beating Malden in a slugfest, 63-52.

The keys to victory for the Warriors were strong rebounding, and limiting turnovers.  James Sullivan played one of his best all-around games, leading the defensive charge, rebounding, and scoring 14 points. Alex Botazzi scored 5 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and took 2 big charges in the second half to slow down the Malden point-guard, and turn momentum in the Warriors favor at critical stages of the game.
