Want to be a Poll Worker? Here's What You Need to Know

Deadline is approaching for the upcoming election season.

You can help your community, take a direct role in the democratic process and earn a little money by serving as a poll worker. And now’s the time if you want to get involved.

Appointments are made during the summer each year by the Board of Selectmen. Poll workers are supervised, and under the direction of the Town Clerk.

The salary for each position is $12 per hour for Wardens, $10 per hour for Clerks, $10 per hour for Tellers and $8 per hour for Inspectors (check-in/check-out clerks). You must be available to attend training sessions as needed.
