Warriors Head into the Playoffs with Two No.1 Seeds
4th grade, 7th grade teams close out seasons with victories.

4th Grade: Warriors 34 - Burlington 26
The Tewksbury 4th grade Wamesit Warriors ended the regular season on a high note defeating Burlington 34-26 to finish the regular season at 9-7. Leading the way were Colby Brown and Derek Graffeo with 8 points each. Jay Connolly added 7 points, Zack Weitz 5points, Michael Polimeno 4 points and Brennan Rogers with 2 points Kyle Zervas and Colby Wilson directed the offense all day with several assists each. Jack Kelly and David Miller grabbed several rebounds each and got the fast break started. The entire team applied tremendous defensive pressure the entire game to lead Tewksbury to the victory. Tewksbury has earned a 4th seed in the playoffs and will host the same Burlington team this Wednesday in round one of the playoffs. This talented team has come together quite nicely and is primed for a deep run into the upcoming playoff tournament.

7th Grade: Warriors 52 – Reading 42
The Wamesit Warriors 7th grade team closed out the season with a solid win going 13-2 on the season and taking First place in Division 1 of the Eastern Hoops league. Reading put up a tough fight and caused a few turnovers early against the warriors and kept the game close. The Warriors led at the half 21 to 17. The Warriors welcomed back Conner MacLean after a long injury and he came back with his A game scoring 8 points and snatching 5 steals. Justin Derrah led the way with 15 points and played a very tough game on the boards and had 4 blocked shots. Ryan Bain, Jack Theriault and Ryan Briggs made some nice passes all game feeding Derrah and Brady Rodgers for some nice layups. Defensively, Brady Rodgers, Nick Dunlap and Josh Asselin were ferocious and helped contribute to the win, stealing the ball 6 times. Kevin Vonkahle played well under the boards. Also scoring for the Warriors were, Briggs (8), Vonkahle and Dunlap (6), Theriault (4), Bain (3) and Rodgers (2).

8th Grade: The Wamesit Warriors 8th grade team did not play this weekend but enter the Playoffs with a perfect 20-0 record and the #1 seed in the Eastern Hoops League division 1 tournament and a first round bye.
