WATCH: Beyoncé Surprises Shoppers at Tewksbury Walmart
Almost three years ago to the day, Queen B visited the Walmart in Tewksbury to do some holiday shopping and meet with her fans.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Nearly three years ago to the day, all the single ladies (and other Tewksbury Walmart shoppers) were stunned when "Queen B," Beyoncé, walked through the doors of the Walmart Supercenter on Main Street in Tewksbury.
On Dec. 20, 2013, the "Slay Queen" herself made a surprise visit to shoppers at the Walmart. The Lowell Sun reports that Beyoncé was in Tewksbury doing some Christmas shopping before her concert at the TD Garden in Boston.
The Sun's further reports that "Sasha Fierce"(A nickname given to Beyoncé after her third studio album) handed out $50 gift cards to around 750 customers, totaling $37,500.
