Water Main Break Affecting Tewksbury Schools

There is no timetable as of 12:15 Monday afternoon on when service may be restored.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- There is no water services at the Ryan School and School Administrative offices in Tewksbury following a Monday morning water break on both sides of Pleasant Street. There is no water service on Pleasant Street between Summer Street and the Tewksbury High School, although officials said the high school still has water service.

Students at the Ryan School were shuttle to Tewksbury Memorial High School Monday morning. The students were to be shuttle back to the Ryan School for dismissal and parent pickup. Tewksbury Public Schools also said there would be no extended day program at the Ryan School Monday. An alert was sent out to Ryan School families, the school district said.

Other areas impacted by the water shutoff include Heritage Drive, Pillsbury Avenue, Debra Drive, and Concrete Road. Crews have responded, but there is no timetable as of 12:15 Monday afternoon on when water service will be turned back on in the area.
