Thrillist.com has unveiled its list of 40 biggest cities in the country ranked by their food and Boston is coming in pretty high on the list.
Thrillist editors across the country examined the food scene for all cities in America with a population close to or more than 500,000. Taking those 40 cities, each was ranked based on the city’s finest establishments and signature contributions and traditions, as well as the strength of each city’s dining culture.

Where did Boston rank on the list? Beantown came in at #11.
With a population of more than 600,000, the article calls Boston a meeting point for New England foods, like lobster rolls and clam chowder, but says the shining example of what Boston cuisine offers is its great chefs.
